We are so excited to launch an innovative dance programme for our oldest dancers, moving up and out of kids and into the teen space! We'd love to have you join us. Our programme is different than your typical dance classes, dance training, or competition dance crew. Our kaupapa aligns with that of the kids programme (play, learn, create, perform), with a more sophisticated leadership/choreographic focus (lead, learn, create, perform, outreach/teach). Our teen crew will operate as a youth led dance company, meaning dancers:

• Contribute in decision making, including what 'styles' of dance you want to learn and what opportunities you want to take hold of! 

• Have access to a variety of specialist dance instructors/choreographers to deliver your desired skill development. 

• Develop/learn skills to create and choreograph with/on your peers.

• Perform your creations, including repertoire that we will build!!!

• Eventually, you might want to turn that leadership into assisting in kid's classes, event planning, community outreach!

A 'company' is made up of lots of different voices, movers, youth! It's a place where anyone, no matter your experience can find success. Beginners through to trained dancers who want this kind of dance experience welcome! Some will bring their technique from experience dancing, others will bring a keen creative eye for choreography and storytelling, others will bring confident leadership or a talent for community outreach... all needed and valued.
